WILMA BEVERLY

Wilma S. Beverly, 77, of Ashland, died Thursday November 9, 2017 at her residence after a short illness. She was born November 30, 1939 in Ashland the daughter of the late Frank H. and Edna Malarkey Fugeman. She was a former proofreader for Ernst & Ernst CPA in Chicago, Il and of the Catholic Faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank Fugeman; five sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Hall, Emily "Jo" Rearrick, Mary Jane Fugeman, Barbara Geisler and Inez Brooks; one half-sister, Juanita Stapleton; and one nephew, William Geisler. She is survived by Burnett C. Beverly of Ashland; one brother, Andrew M. Fugeman of Ashland; one half-sister, Paula Moore of Phoenix, AZ; many nieces and nephews; and great and great-great nieces and nephews. Known as Bea or Aunt Bea, she was a supporter of animal groups and the Salvation Army. She was very loving and kind and will be missed by family and friends. Private funeral services will be held at Miller Funeral Home with Rev. John Street officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ashland Animal Rescue Fund @ 131 New Hampshire Drive, Ashland, KY 41101.
