William Anthony "Tony" Porter - 1960-2008
William Anthony "Tony" Porter, 48, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 22, 1960, in Ashland, a son of Shirlene Kirk Porter Moore of Ashland and the late William Massie Porter.
In addition, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ollie Dehart Kirk and Jesse Kirk of Flatwoods and Francis Marion Porter and Ida Johnson Porter.
He was a retired cable hanger.
Additional survivors include his stepfather, Charles E. Moore of Ashland; a son, Jesse W. Cantrell of Florida; a grandchild, Logan Cantrell of Florida; and a brother, Rodney Porter of Plant City, Fla.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland by Chaplain Jim Smedley.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 20, 2008, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
