ASHLAND - Timothy David Cassidy, 53, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, in his home in Ashland.
Tim was born Dec. 18, 1959, in Greenup County, a son of the late Robert Bryan and Carrie Bernice Tanner Cassidy.
Tim was the owner of Tim Cassidy Custom Plumbing in Ashland, Tim was also a veteran serving in the U.S. Army 194th armor Division. Tim was a Ham Radio operator #KC4ZNR and his CB handle was TIM.
Tim is survived by his companion, Charlotte J. Keeton Herring of Ashland; a brother, Fred Earl "Jerry" Cassidy of Ashland; a sister, Linda Lou (Rob) Roy of Mocksville, N.C.; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral services for Tim will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Pastor Gary Arrington with military honors by American Legion Post 93 Ceredo-Kenova.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland with an escort to the cemetery by the Patriot Guard of Ashland.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lazear Funeral Home to help defer funeral expenses.
