ASHLAND - Thomas Payton Waggoner, 70, of Ashland, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 14, 1942, in Ashland, the son of the late Estill W. and Doris K. Anders Waggoner.
He was an executive assistant for the Greater Kentucky Corp. and a co-owner of the local Giovanni's Restaurants.
He is survived by his wife, Brinda Estep-Waggoner of Ashland; two brothers, William V. "Bill" Waggoner and his wife, Susan "Vicki," and Tony M. Waggoner and his wife, Paulette, all of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews.
His favorite saying was "Every day is a holiday."
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by Pastor Jim Nichols. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Ashland.
The family will receive friends after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
