ASHLAND - Tayvon Jerrel Smith passed away shortly after birth Saturday morning, Aug. 2, 2013, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
He was the son of James Jerome Smith and Shan Weinfurtner, both of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Elizabeth Lucas; and grandfather, Talmadge Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Terrick Smith, Tamel Smith and Tevin Smith; three sisters, Lindsey Weinfurtner, Dominique Smith and Taryn Smith; maternal grandfather, Kevin Weinfurtner; paternal grandmother, Gwen (Cedric) Masterson; and a maternal great-grandmother, Shay Miller.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
