Rosemary Boehringer, 83, of Grayson, our mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
She was greeted with open arms by her father, William Miranda; her mother, Addie Webb Miranda; and her sister, Phyllis Miranda Osborn.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Boehringer.
She never knew a stranger and was always willing to help anyone she could. If you needed a ride, she was there. If you needed food, it was there. Maybe you wanted someone to watch "Days of our Lives" with, she was there. Her back yard was always full of kids and good times. Her love and devotion to her family was known by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Jack Wilson of Grayson, who she always found time to be sure he got out to take a ride; her daughter, Cathy Caudill of Grayson, who she lived with and shared many good days with; her daughter, Sherri Daniels (David) of Ashland, who she spent many days sitting out back and sharing memories with. When she was able, she attended Crum Chapel Church. She was a born again Christian and loved getting up early to sit by the pond and talk to God. Her children will miss her dearly, but find comfort in knowing they have a promise of seeing her again.
She is also survived by one sister, Doris Elswick of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; one brother, William H. Miranda of Ashland; six grandchildren, Cathy Howard (Kenny), Mari Ann Caudill, Becky Stamper (Donnie), Jennifer Moore, Michael Caudill (Brandi) and Tara Daniels; and 14 great-grandchildren, Austin Conley, Tyler and Shellie Stamper, Addie and Ashley Howard, Emily Moore, Mya Chaffin, Peyton and Tanner Basenback, Laken Slone, Logan and Lucas Daniels and Landyn and LaBradyn Rice. She loved her dog, Sandy, and her cat, Squeeky.
In accordance with her wishes, private services are scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice at 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
