Richard S. "Dick" Robinson Jr. - 1960-2008
Richard S. "Dick" Robinson Jr., 48, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008.
He was born April 21, 1960, in Ashland, Ky., the son of Patricia "Pat" Howard Robinson of Ashland and the late Richard Sands "Pete" Robinson. He was a former employee of the Ashland School System and a member of Pollard Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Olive Terry Robinson; a son, Richard S. Robinson III of Ashland; two sisters, Kimberly Neal and her husband, Granville "Granny" of Ashland and Dorothy Keesey and her husband, Greg of Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, William "Bill" Robinson and his wife, Lisa of Ashland and Gary Clark Robinson and his wife, Lisa of Ashland and many nieces and nephews who dearly loved him and a host of friends.
Dick had a huge heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Todd Richardson and the Rev. Charles E. Stewart. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
