Rebekah Leah "Bekah" Stevens McDavid, 27, of Westwood, wife of Adam Craig McDavid, died Friday morning, April 12, 2013, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland following a sudden illness.

Bekah was born June 3, 1985, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of Perry and Myra Franklin Stevens of Westwood. She was a 2003 graduate of Fairview High School and attended Western Kentucky University. Bekah was employed with Fifth Third Bank and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Her life was a ministry to the Lord and she lived to be a Christian example to the young children in her path.

Bekah is also survived by a brother, Drew Stevens of Westwood; her maternal grandparents, Henry and Mildred Franklin of Ashland; a very special friend, Sydney Ekers; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cris and Ron McDavid; and her sister-in-law, Kayla McDavid of Catlettsburg.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Fairview Baptist Church on Main Street in Westwood by Pastor Mike Rice. Interment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today, April 16, 2013, at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland.
