Richard "Dick" Moore Sr. (1936-2008)
Richard "Dick" MacQueen Moore, Sr., 71, passed away Saturday evening, March 22, 2008 at his home in Ashland.
Mr. Moore was born Aug. 15, 1936, in Ashland, Ky., a son of the late Jay and Vada MacQueen Moore. Dick was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church, an Army veteran, retired from the AK Steel maintenance department, a 32nd degree Mason with Rush Lodge, and a member of the El Hasa Shrine of North America.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay B. Moore and David Leander Moore, and a sister, Virginia Moore.
Left behind to treasure his love and wonderful memories are his wife of 49 years, Donna Arnett Moore; his son and namesake, Richard MacQueen "Rick" Moore Jr. and his fiancée, Susan "Little Bit" Radwell; his daughter, Susi Akers and her husband, Brian; three grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart, Richard MacQueen "Trey" Moore III and his wife, Lindsey, Kelsea Shea Akers and Kasie Lee Moore.
