RUSSELL - Phyllis Ireen Potter Wylie, 75, of Russell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2013, in Jo-Lin Health Center in Ironton.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1938, in Worthington, to the late Rev. William and Carrie Garvin Potter.
Phyllis attended church at the Raceland Assembly of God and retired in 1990 as a supervisor for GTE.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wylie in 2008.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen R. (Tom) Maynard of Russell; two sons, Lloyd E. (Joyce) Potter, and James H. (Ruth) Potter both of Raceland; seven nieces and three nephews; as well as a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Carman Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Rosehill Burial Park in Ashland. Words of comfort will be delivered by Pastor Paul Neal.
