Peggy Thompson

Peggy Reynolds Thompson, 74, of Westwood, wife of James Thompson, died Thur. morning, Oct. 11, at her home following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 17, 1943 in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph and Stella Jean Curnutte Reynolds. Peggy was raised in Martin, Ky., one of nine children.
She is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by 2 brothers; Graham and Johnny Reynolds; and 3 sisters, Becky Green, Nancy Mayo, and Mickie Dingess. Surviving, in addition to her husband include 3 daughters; Rochelle (Keith) Sergent of Catlettsburg, Ky., Becky (Tim) Boyd of Westwood, Ky.,and Leslie (Kevin) Crawford of Westwood, Ky.; 2 step sons, Curtis (Christina) Thompson of Raceland, Ky., and Mark (Claire) Achorn of Middletown, Ohio; 2 step daughters, Teresa (David) Darnell of Madisonville, Ky., Lee (Richard) Hissett of Louisville, Ky.; a brother, Jim Reynolds of Martin, Ky.; a half brother, Billy Reynolds of Martin, Ky.; a sister, Alice (Dave) Clark of Ashland, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tue., Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. at Preston Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be Mon. evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Tue. from noon until service time. Entombment will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
