Pearl Francis - 1925-2008
Pearl Mae Hall Francis, 82, wife of Fred Francis, of Westwood passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 following an extended illness.
Pearl was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Bruin, Ky., a daughter of the late Oscar and Gladys Salyers Hall. She was a member of Hoods Creek Regular Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley Hall, Glenn E. Hall and Arthur "Archie" Hall; and one sister Mary Fain.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Fred Francis; a daughter, Deena Harmon and her husband, John of Glen Allen, Va.; a sister, Evelyn Ison of Westwood; and one granddaughter, Traci Nelson of Westwood.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Russell Griffith and Pastor Ennis Lewis at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Saturday.
