Paul Winford "the Clock Man" Caudill, of Ashland, died November 27, 2014, Thanksgiving Day, at his home following an extended illness.

Paul was born July 29, 1928, in Magoffin County, a son of the late Thomas and Ora Conley Caudill.


He was also preceded in death by his wife, Erma Baldwin Caudill; and a son, David Caudill.

He was retired from the Pipefitters and Steamfitters Local in Virginia and enjoyed his retirement in his clock shop on Ky. 5.

He is survived by five daughters, Linda Gordon and husband Tom of Salem, Ill., Paula Tackett, Debbie Rigsby and husband Roger, Mary Kiser and husband Bill and Karen Sparks and husband Keith, all of Ashland; a brother, Goble Caudill of South Point, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
