Pam Peebles (1937-2010)
Pamela Field Molsberger Peebles, 72, of Ashland passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, following a brief illness. She was born March 3, 1937, in Ashland to the late Fredrick and Katherine Field Molsberger. Pam was a 1955 graduate of Ashland High School and was the coordinator of all the class of '55 reunions and activities throughout the years. She was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church of Ashland.
She also was preceded in death by her husband Phil Peebles; two brothers, Joe and Fred Molsberger; and two sisters Betty Ball and Katherine Whitt.
Survivors include a son, Richard Peebles of Ashland; three daughters, Valerie Richardson of Ashland, Elizabeth Pelphrey and her husband Steve of Lexington and Katherine Scheser and her husband Mike of Louisville; four grandchildren Kyle Pelphrey, Derek Pelphrey, Chad Pelphrey and Lauren Richardson.
Pallbearers will be Steve Pelphrey, Kyle Pelphrey, Derek Pelphrey, Chad Pelphrey, Mike Scheser and Jeremy Molsberger.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Ashland, conducted by the Revs. Jennifer Johnson and Garrett Bugg. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood and one hour before the service on Sunday at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations in Pam's memory may be made to Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
