ASHLAND - Michael L. Groves Sr., 66, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, March 28, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Michael was born on May 14, 1946, in Ashland to the late Lindsey and Daisey Corey Groves.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by two wives, Linda Groves and Jenny Groves; and a brother, Arthur Groves.
Surviving are a son, Michael Groves Jr. of Ashland; three daughters, Melissa Turner of Arizona, Tiffany Groves of Flatwoods and Irene Conlon of Ashland; two grandchildren, Terrance Turner and Malachy Ward; one brother, Donald Groves of Rush; and a sister, Debbie Fryer of Ashland.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the chapel of Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
