Mary Louise Jones - 1984-2008
Mary Louise Jones, 24, of Rush, Ky., went to be with her heavenly Father Tuesday morning, Nov. 25, 2008.
She was born May 29, 1984, in Huntington, W.Va., the daughter of Tom Jones of Rush and Candace Dragg Jones of Greenup, Ky. She was a student at Morehead State University and was a member of Sts. John and Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grayson, Ky. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Clyde Jones and her maternal grandmother, Mary (Pye) Dragg.
Her survivors include one brother, Tommy Jones of Rush; one half brother, David Anthony "Tony" (Monica) Jones of Orlando, Fla.; two nephews, Collin and Morgan Jones of Orlando; paternal grandmother, Helen (Davis) Jones of Rush; maternal grandfather, Alvin L. "Bully" Dragg of Gonzales, La.; aunts and uncles, Jan (Doug) Blevins and Betty Ann (Eddie) Kress, both of Ashland, Ky.; and a cousin, Mark Blevins of Ashland.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Jones, Eddie Kress, Doug Blevins, Jay Smith, James Conn, David Jones and Danny Gillum.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday at Sts. John and Elizabeth Catholic Church by Father Larry Goulding and Gary Arrington.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Malone Funeral Home in Grayson is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mary Louise Jones, c/o Boyd County Drug Court, att: Judge Rosen, P.O. Box 417, Catlettsburg, KY 41129.
