Mary Alice Canfield Austin, 83, of Catlettsburg went home to be with her Lord Sunday, February 24, 2019 at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Mary was born March 04, 1935 in Ashland to the late William O. and Lila Ellis Wamsley. She was a member of Coal Grove Nazarene Church.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. William Bryan Canfield; her second husband, Paul Austin; two sons, Brady Keith Canfield and Rev. David Bryan Canfield; a grandson,… William Jack Canfield; and 8 of her siblings.

Mary is survived by one son, Rev. Jeff Canfield and his wife, Tonna of Westwood; one brother, Paul Carlton “Moe” Canfield (Bonnie) of Ashland, KY; one sister, Ann Fugitt (Bob) of Ashland; three grandchildren, Natalie Canfield, Erica Canfield, and Michael Canfield; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Lucas Canfield, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Caniff Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Canfield and Rev. Jim Harris. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM and one hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
