ASHLAND - Marlene Faye Reisinger Stambaugh, 60, of Ashland, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 20, 2014, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, with her family at her side.
Mrs. Stambaugh was born Sept. 9, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Virgil and Barbara Stifler Reisinger.
Marlene was a graduate of Marysville High School and was employed by Washland. She was a member of New Testament Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship of her church family.
Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, James Floyd Stambaugh; sons Matt Stambaugh and wife Angie of Catlettsburg, Scott Stambaugh and wife LaShelle of Kenova, W.Va., and Eric Stambaugh of Lewistown, Ohio; grandchildren Julia, Kirstin, Allison, Austin, Braeden and Bryce; and siblings Esther (Roy) Hammond, Sandy (Jim) McFarland, Virgil (Susie) Reisinger and Mark (Jane) Reisinger, all of Ohio, Darlene (Troy) Fitch of Catlettsburg, Phillip Reisinger of Texas and Bobby Reisinger and Brian (Tammy) Reisinger, both of Ohio.
The funeral for Mrs. Stambaugh will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg by Pastor Eddie Hay and Brother Michael Greene. Final resting place will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
