Lorraine Johnson Creech - 1922-2008
Lorraine Johnson Creech, 85, of Ashland, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, from natural causes in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
She was born July 31, 1922, in Elliott County, Ky., the daughter of the late Allen and Mima Greene Johnson. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Creech, in 1945; two brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Castle and her husband, Bill; a grandson, Joseph Castle and his wife, Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Grady Allan Castle and Josie Marie Castle, all of Pontiac, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Roger Robinson of Ashland.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, April 10, 2008, at Rose Hill Mausoleum by Dr. Floyd Paris. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
There will be no visitation.
Miller Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Jo-Lin Nursing Home in Ironton for its care.
