Loretta Hall Branham, 78, went to her heavenly home on Friday morning, March 22, 2019, at her residence.
She was born June 23, 1940, in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Ira and Dora Bryant Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Larry Edwin Branham on March 19, 2010.
She worked at Mays Donut Shop, GC Murphy’s and the Ashland Independent Schools. Loretta attended Second Free Will Baptist Church for 56 years, where she held the office of church clerk, adult and teen Sunday school teacher, women’s auxiliary local and state office, Bible School Director and choir member.
Survivors include two daughters, Lydia Branham Robinson (Scott) and Lisha Branham (Lois) of Ashland; two grandchildren, Katie Dillon (Chris) of South Point, OH and Trevor Lindsey (Emily) of Ashland; four great grandchildren, Savannah and Ace Dillon and Harper Brown and Blake Lindsey; and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Pastor James Lindsey and Pastor Randy Skaggs officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
