Lillian Cooper Swann, 91, of Ashland, passed away Sunday evening, April 28, 2013, in Woodland Oaks in Ashland.
She was born Jan. 12, 1922, on Bolts Fork, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Mattie Queen Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Swann in 2000; brothers, Jay B. Webb, Wesley Junior Webb and Chan Roy Webb; and sisters, Catherine W. Blevins, Georgene W. Gardner and Lorraine W. Lawson.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Fred Swann, Clarence "B.B." Cooper and T.R. "Rannie" Cooper, all of Ashland; sisters, Genie Webb Clay of Ashland and Donna Webb Wilcox and husband Robert of Flatwoods; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be conducted Thursday at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, with Pastor Darrell L. Clark officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
