Leva V. "Peggy"a��Fosson, 75, of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born March 23, 1937, in Louisa, the daughter of the late Brigg Milton and Georgia Virginia Muncy VanHorn.
She was a housewife, mother and grandmother and attended Heritage Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Erby D. Fosson; two daughters, Sheila Horton and husband, Marty, of Ashland and Berreda Griffith and her husband, Rick, of Rush; a son, Erby V. Fosson and his wife, Debbie, of Coal Grove, Ohio; four sisters, Lucy Mae Hines of Columbia, Mo., Emma Faye Carter of Ashland, Jenny Lynn Hall of Norfolk, Va., and Dorothy McClean of Louisa; five grandchildren, Audrey Fosson, Olivia Fosson, Anna Carr, Allison McCoy and M.J. Horton; and two great-grandchildren, Gracie McCoy and Xavier Davis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home by the Rev. Ed Cook. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
