Larry Clifford Noble, 75, of Ashland, passed away Friday evening, August 16, 2019 in Cabell Huntington Hospital.
He was born January 24, 1944, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Clifford Louis and Ruth Johnson Noble.
Larry attended First Church of the Nazarene. He coached Ashland youth sports for over 20 years. He was an avid Ohio State and Dallas Cowboys Fan. Larry served honorably in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam from 1963 until 1967, and retired from Ashland Oil as an operator following 25 years of service.
Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will long be remembered for his sense of humor and practical jokes.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sandra Fields Noble of Ashland; sons, Adam (Rachel) Noble of London, KY, and Clint Noble of Westminster, CO; step son, Kevin (Robyn) Campbell of Flatwoods; step daughter, Kristen Campbell (Michael) Steele of Ashland; brother, Glenn (Suellen) Noble of St. Augustine, FL; sister, Sandra (Max) Bowling of Ashland; grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin and Reece Noble, Lexi Martin, Laikin, Haleigh, Bentley and Anniston Steele, Dylan Campbell, Chelsea (Travis) Porter; and one great grandchild, Hanley June Porter.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Lane and Rev. Kevin Campbell officiating.
Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum where military honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy and American Legion Kenova Post 93.
