Judy Carol Blackburn Anderson, age 54, of Ashland, Ky., died May 1, 2008 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.
She was born Aug. 7, 1953, in Kenova, W.Va., a daughter of the late David L. and Kathleen Kelly Blackburn.
She was an actress, singer, musician and teacher. She has traveled the United States and Mexico many times and loved to travel. She was of the Baptist faith, and graduated with honors and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Morehead State University. She had a deep love for her pets.
Surviving are her companion, Jerry Morris of Ashland; and one brother, John Roger Blackburn and his wife, Josephine of Rush, Ky.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Dr. David Lemming. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
