Joyce E. Menshouse, 80, of Westwood, Ky died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Kings Daughter's Medical Center. She was born April 11, 1938 in Greenup  County, Ky. A daughter of the late Raymond B. and Haulsie Stanley Lions. She was a retired lab tech with Bellefonte hospital. She was a member of Tunnel Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Ashland. Joyce is survived by her husband, Jesse A. Menshouse, two sons Mark Bryant (Stephanie) Menshouse of Westwood, Ky. and Jesse B. Menshouse of Ashland, Ky., two daughters Vanessa Menshouse Hunnewell of Westwood, Ky. and Cheryl (Doug) Bowling of Catlettsburg, Ky., a brother Ronald R. (Felicia Delesreyes) Lions, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Joyce is proceeded in death in addition to her parents by a son Jesse A. Menshouse Jr. A private funeral service will be conducted Monday, December 17, 2018 at Lazear Funeral Home by Pastor Bill Oaks. With entombment to follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call at Lazear Funeral Home Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Lazear Funeral Home.
