CLARKSVILLE, TN - Staff Sgt. Joshua Tucker, 33, United States Army, of Clarksville, Tenn., the husband of Julia Hoff Tucker, was born June 20, 1978, the son of Charlotte King of Flatwoods, and Larry A. Tucker of Bentonville, Ark.

He rested this life on Friday, Feb. 10 at his home in Clarksville while stationed at Fort Campbell.

In addition to his father, he is held in loving memory by his stepmother, Janice Tucker, and stepbrother, Eric Tucker. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Irma Tucker of Kenova, W.Va.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is held in loving memory by a son, Brandon Dylan Wayne Tucker; a stepson, Jaden VanNest Hoff, both of Clarksville, Tenn.; a brother, Robert Stephen Gwinn; and two nephews, Donovan and Levi Gwinn, all of Flatwoods.

He was an awesome son who grew to be a man who loved his wife and children and served his country.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Edwin Harper. Burial with military rites will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Public visitation will be at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Saturday.
