Joe Howard

Joe Dean Howard, 79 of Bellefonte passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center in Ashland.

Joe was born May 14, 1939 in Edna, KY. A son of the late Frank C. and Agatha Lykins Howard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Garrett L. Howard.
Joe was a member of First Baptist Church Russell. Joe worked for the Greenup County Board of Education. He retired from the Kentucky Army National Guard.

Survivors include brothers… Harold G. Howard (Phyllis) and Clifford R. Howard both of Flatwoods; sisters Betty Alice Wood (John) of Utah, Edith Mae Saunders (Sandy) of Bellefonte and Rebecca Gullett of Flatwoods; along several Nephews and Nieces; Joe was loved by everyone he came in contact with.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-2 at the Funeral Home
