Jacqueline West - 1930-2008
Jacqueline West, 78, of Ashland, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at the residence of her daughter, who cared for her.
She was born May 10, 1930, in Pike County, the daughter of the late Otis and Emma Smith Ball. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and former member of the Eastern Star and TOPS Club Westwood 254.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd West.
Survivors include three daughters, Rose Grossl and her husband, Tony, Bambi Webb and her husband, Randy, and Carol Alley and her husband, John, all of Ashland; two sons, Larry West and his wife Rose and Rick West, all of Nicholasville; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Miller Funeral Home by pastor Joed Rice. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
