Frank E. Dalton, 76, of Westwood, entered into eternal bliss and joined his beautiful wife in Heaven Saturday, January 6.
Frank was born May 29, 1941, in Westwood, a son of the late Frank and Bertha Burchett Dalton.
He was a member of the Williams Creek Church, KYOVA Gospel Singing, co-owner of Dalton Brothers' Stone Sales and a retired BO/Masonry foreman from ARMCO Steel.
He was a dedicated family man who adored his family above any earthly treasure.
Frank was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his loving wife, Joyce Ferrell Dalton just two short months ago; a brother, Larry "Dood" Dalton last year as well; a sister, Janiece Daily of Georgia; and an infant son, Robert Frank Dalton.
Surviving include a son, Frank E. Dalton Jr. (Pam) of Sarasota, FL; four daughters, Anita Dalton Vaughan (Carl) of Columbus, IN, Joy Dalton Davenport (Rick Barton) of Coalgrove, OH, Beth Dalton Smith (Wayne) of Ashland, KY, and Diana Dalton Meeks (Dee) of Westwood, KY; a brother, Perry Dalton (Patricia) of Westwood; three sisters, Mamie Salyers (Roger) of Westwood, Hattie Kelley of Ashland, Betty Cordle (Darvin) of Westwood; nine grandchildren who she lovingly referred to as Brat and Puney Vaughan, Gosh and Jerm Bayless, Camero and Bugsy Smith, Shady Lady and Bert Meeks and Sarie Lou Lane; 15 great-grandchildren; honorary daughter, Denise Roy Meeks; and honorary son, Billy Maynard; and dad's faithful and beloved pet, May.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11, at 1 p.m. at Preston Family Funeral Home by Brother Charlie Powers and Brother Wayne Smith. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.
