Frances Holbrook

Frances Evelyn Holbrook, 90, of Findlay, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Birchaven Village. She was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on April 4, 1928 to the late Earl M. and Effie L. (Ison) Robinson. On October 31, 1953, Evelyn married Wayne Holbrook and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2012. She was a member of Findlay First Church of the Nazarene and Order of Eastern Star. Evelyn enjoyed baking, quilting and playing bingo.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Randy) Daniels of Findlay; 2 grandchildren, Brandon (Sonja) Daniels of Findlay and Lauren (Darrin) Vensil of Zanesville, OH; and 3 great-grandchildren, Serena, Benjamin and Carson. She is also survived by a sister, Merle R. West of Ashland, KY. Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Paul G. Robinson.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of Evelyn’s caregivers at Birchaven.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 21st at 2 p.m. at the Catlettsburg Church of the Nazarene in Catlettsburg, KY. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior (1:00-2:00 p.m.) to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, KY. Memorial contributions in Evelyn’s name may be made to Findlay First Church of The Nazarene.
