Eunice Vincent - 1913-2008
Eunice Reeves Vincent, 95, of Ashland went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008.
Eunice was born Aug. 1, 1913, in Denton, Ky., a daughter of the late Charles L. and Jennie Patrick Reeves.
She had previously worked as a secretary for CPR, International a corn products company in Chicago, Ill., and was a former postmaster with the Hitchins, Ky., post office for 17 years. She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Vincent.
Survivors include a son, Darrell Eugene "Dick" Vincent and his wife, Betty of Ashland; a sister, Beulah Hajek of Owensboro, Ky.; two grandchildren, Eugeni Greene and her husband, John and Eric Vincent and his wife, Christi; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Zachary, Emily and Austin; and three special caregivers, Lois Bond, Madeline Smith and Virginia Keeton.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood by the Rev. Clell Elliott. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service
