Ethel Long

Jean Long, 86, of Ashland, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center. She was born June 20, 1931 in Pomp, KY the daughter of the late Hankins Bishop and the late Rae Armitage Bishop Dyer. She was a former childcare provider and a member of Ashland First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rome Long, Jr; one son, Charles Long; one brother and two sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Long of Ashland, KY; a son, Timothy Long (Norma) of Winter Garden, FL; a sister, Anna Louise Saunders (Jack) of Henrico, NC; two brothers, Harold Blair (Nellie) of Huber Heights, OH and Jack Dyer (Patricia) of Beaver Creek, OH; three grandchildren, Trayton Long, Adrianna Long and Austin Long; and two great grandchildren, Bentley Long and Brayleigh Long. There are no services scheduled.
