Edith E. Ward Howell, age 96, of Chillicothe, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Nov. 25, 2008, at 3132 Cattail Road, Chillicothe.
She was born March 3, 1912, in Ashland, a daughter of the late John Waller and Leora Kazee Waller.
She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Ed Ward on Dec. 6, 1974 and Henry Garland Howell on April 11, 2003.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russell and Nora Wells of Louisa, Ky.; brother, Bill Waller of Muskegon, Mich.; sister-in-law, Lucille Waller of Newark, Ohio; sister, Sarah Ingram of South Bend, Ind.; a nephew she helped raise, James Edgar Lyons of Greenup, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Rick Porter. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at the funeral home.
