Dorothy Jordan

Dorothy Louise Jordan, 93, of Ashland, passed away Friday January 11, 2019 at her

residence. She was born March 20, 1925 in Cadamus, KY the daughter of the late Dwitt

and Fannie Rice Diamond. She was a former Physical Therapy Assistant at Kings

Daughters Medical Center and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was

also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Sanford Jordan; a granddaughter, Melissa

Jordan; seven sisters, Anna Vanhorn, Karen Eker, Addie Workman, Beatrice Workman,

Rose Combs, Virgie Ball and Mary Jane Cunningham; and one brother, Dwitt Diamond, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Jarrell Jordan (Patricia) of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren,

Mitchell Jordan and Sheri Jordan Doman; and one great grandson Jordan Branham.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday January 19, 2019 at Miller Funeral Home

with Pastor Acy Gibson officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. The

family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral Home.
