Donna "Ree" Hart (1935-2007)
Ree Hart, 72, of Ashland, wife of Charles Hart, died Saturday evening at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland following an extended illness. Ree was born November 25, 1935, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Charlie and Verna Louise Lewis Grounds. She was a member of Pollard Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by a grandson Jeffrey Ryan Hart in 2003.
Surviving, in addition to her husband include three sons, Jeff and wife Paula Hart, Greg Hart and Jon Hart, all of Ashland; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pollard Baptist Church by the Rev. Todd Richardson. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to Pollard Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.prestonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
