Dixie J. Robbins - 1951-2009
Dixie J. Robbins, 58, of Ironton, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in the Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley.
Born on Sept. 27, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Castle Stacy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Garland Stacy Sr., and a sister, Betty Meade.
Surviving are a son, Chad E. Robbins of Ashland; two daughters, April Jo Robbins of Ashland and Sonya A. Heckart and husband Shawn of Blandon, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Ashtyn "Gracie" Heckart. Other survivors include three brothers, Ershel (Dixie) Stacy of Argillite, Ky., and Norman (Mary) Stacy and Glen Melvin (Peggy) Stacy, all of Circleville, Ohio; and two sisters, Anna (Tony) Click and Susie (Roger) Ison, all of Circleville.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. at the Mausoleum.
Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood is in charge of arrangements.
