DAISY MCPEEK
October 19, 1943 — February 18, 2018
Mrs. Daisy Angeline McPeek, 74, of Ashland, went peacefully to be with her heavenly father while surrounded by her adoring family Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Daisy was born October 19, 1943, in Tomohawk, KY, to the late Shirley and Dixie M. Hopkins Hall.
In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 56 years, Sterling Pete McPeek in 2016.
Daisy leaves behind two loving children, Nancy Young (Tony) and Sterling McPeek Jr.(Lisa); her six grandchildren who were the twinkle of her eye, Brandi Compliment, Luke McCoy, Shane McPeek, Spencer McPeek, Haley McPeek and Karri McPeek; God blessed Daisy with seven beautiful great-grandchildren, Cash Michael, Lucy Louise, Piper Lynn, Elijah Wyatt, Whitleigh Grace, Taylen Arabella and Fisher Sterling; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Daisy had a passion for singing her praises to the Lord. She sang with "The Hall Sisters" and they were a blessing to many.
Daisy had a wonderful sense of humor, a great Tarzan yell and could make a mean pot of chicken and dumplings.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
