Connie Greene

Connie L. Greene, 71, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born June 14, 1947 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Hargie J. and Dora Caudill Conley. She was a retired supervisor in the finance department for the City of Ashland. She was a member of the Westwood Freewill Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher at Wildwood Church of God, Second Freewill Baptist Church and the Westwood Freewill Baptist Church for 46 years. She also served as treasurer at Second Freewill Baptist Church for 10 years. Survivors include her husband, Alger Greene; one son, Matthew (Patricia) Greene of Flatwoods; one sister, Greta (Julian) Hall of Ashland; two grandchildren, Kristen Elaine Carmon, Emily Marie Greene and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday February 8, 2019 at Westwood Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Bill Evans and Pastor Ivan Asbury. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM till 1:00 PM Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Funeral Home.
