He was born April 1, 1937, in Boyd County.
His wife, Lettie "Midge" Kirk, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home, 1632 Central Ave., Ashland, KYa��41101 to help with funeral expenses.
