Charles Parker

Charles "Aaron" Parker, 38, of Ashland, KY. passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his residence from complications of peritoneal cancer. The Ashland native was born October 20, 1980, a son of William W. and Debra Payne Parker of Albany GA. He is also survived by his wife of 13 years, Alissa Renee Terry Parker, whom he married May 7, 2005.

Aaron was a 1999 graduate of Lee County High School in Georgia, a 2003 graduate of Georgia Tech in Material Science Engineering and a 2012 graduate of Marshall University in Accounting and Finance. He was a Certified Public Accountant for the Kelly, Galloway, Smith and Goolsby Company for more than six years and a member of the 13th Street Baptist Church in Ashland, KY. He was also the treasurer and served on the Board for the River Cities Harvest.

He was preceded in death by:
his maternal grandfather: Charles Payne
his paternal grandparents: Clara and Ray Parker

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by:
two sons: Aiden Parker and Neil Parker both of Ashland
a brother: Nathan Parker of Albany, GA
a grandmother: Phyllis Payne of Ashland, KY

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the 13th Street Baptist Church in Ashland with Pastors Bill Parker and Jim Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park and friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM at the church.
