Brenda Rankin

Brenda Rankin, 71, of Ashland, KY passed away Thursday November 8, 2018 in Williamsburg, KY. She was born March 23, 1947 in Eskdale, WV the daughter of the late Carrie E. and Ruth Stone Nunley. She was a seamstress by trade and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rankin and two sisters, Rhelda Jean Markel and Carol Proffitt. She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Parsons (Rick) of Catlettsburg, KY, Sula Bowman (Joe) of Williamsburg, KY and Sarah Gulley (Thad) of Alabaster, AL; one sister, Patricia Kaylor of Columbus, OH; and six grandchildren, Justin Parsons, Tyler Parsons, Christy Stepp, Brandon Atha, Brenn Gulley and Holt Gulley. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday November 12, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home with Bro. Edgar Nethercutt, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
