Anna Lee (Lyle) Kazee
Born on Sept. 11, 1925, in Big Sandy, W.Va., to parents Anna and Joseph Lyle, Anna went to be with God on Nov. 20, 2008, at the age of 83, in Roseville, Calif.
She was surrounded by her loving family and passed following a short illness.
A native of Ashland, Ky., until 2006, Anna lived with her son, Marvin and his wife, Lynne in Sacramento, Calif. Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Matthew Kazee and eldest son, Ronnie Lee Clark of McElster, Okla.
She is survived by sons, Marvin Kazee and his wife, Lynne of Sacramento, and Jerry Kazee and his wife, Adra of Roseville; daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Norman of McAlester; sister, Myrtle Bennett of Fredonia, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and several nieces.
Anna was an avid seamstress and quilter who loved nothing more than being at her sewing machine putting the pieces of a quilt together. She was also a long time member of the Antioch Christian Church of Greenup, Ky.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at the Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
