Amy Adell Price, 86, of Ashland, passed away Sunday morning, July 15, 2012, in Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.
Amy was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Foster Fearing and Laura Rice Price.
She was a former employee of Keenan Oil Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio, and retired from Ashland Oil Inc. as a refinery sales representative in the transportation fuels department. She was past president of the Cincinnati Oil Club in Cincinnati, a lifetime member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, a member and former elder of First Presbyterian Church in Ashland and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Amy was also preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Price, Russell Price and Robert Gaylord Price, and a sister, Gladys Miller.
Survivors include a sister, Leona P. Bryson Carter of Ashland; four nieces; and eight nephews.
A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland by the Rev. Garrett Bugg. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood.
